Representatives of Association of cities–heirs of Byzantium ACEB made the detailed shooting of monuments in Italian province of Veneto.

The ACEB association continues work by studying monuments of byzantine heritage located worldwide. In period from September 22 to September 25, 2015 representatives of the Association visited the Italian province of Veneto where is situated the great number of interesting architectural monuments.

During the research was also visited Venice (including Murano and Torcello islands), Treviso, Caorle, Vicenza and Lissone. In each of these cities the monuments that are associated with the byzantine period of history were recorded. The meetings with representatives of some churches took place also. The album of Association was presented to the matron of the monastery in Treviso (Monastero Visitazione) in particular. Albums were presented also to representatives of other monuments photographed.

The finished shooting material will be processed shortly and used during Association projects implementation, which undoubtedly, will make an essential contribution to the conservation of byzantine cultural heritage.
